Permanent | Full time role based in York
Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours (flexible working would be considered)
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum.
Our well established client are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage patients using evidence based and patient centric principals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
- Responsible for observing, recording and reporting patients involved in 1:1s and groups.
- Ensure the effective and efficient management of more junior staff.
- Observe and monitor the well-being of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff and documented.
- Required to ensure the effective, timely and accurate updating of clinical records and computerised information systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- HCPC registered
- Occupational Therapy degree
- Experience of working in inpatient mental health or in a similar role
