HR & Talent Administrator

Your Key Responsibilities:

Talent Attraction and Recruitment:

  • Partner with senior leaders and department heads to innovate and implement strategies that attract the best talent.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring timely and efficient candidate screenings.
  • Manage DBS and professional accreditation renewals throughout the employee lifecycle.

Employee Development and Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to provide employees with essential training and growth opportunities.
  • Work with site managers to execute action plans that drive employee engagement and performance.
  • Conduct exit interviews, addressing any concerns and identifying trends to improve employee retention.

Absence and Wellbeing Management:

  • Implement and monitor absence management policies, supporting managers in addressing short-term and long-term absences.
  • Conduct return-to-work interviews, ensuring smooth reintegration for employees.
  • Liaise with the Regional HR team for guidance on absence-related issues and make necessary Occupational Health referrals.

HR Administration and Support:

  • Lead the onsite HR and Resourcing team, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Support investigations, grievances, and other HR processes in collaboration with Regional HR.
  • Provide backup and support to the broader team as needed.

Finance and Payroll Management:

  • Process weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with HR to maintain accurate employee data in the payroll system.
  • Plan and manage employee schedules, including holidays and training, up to 12 weeks in advance.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and address payroll queries from employees.
  • Handle invoice processing and other finance-related tasks.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records for audits.

What We're Looking For:

  • Ideally pursuing a CIPD qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
