Speech and Language Therapist
Permanent role based in Leicestershire covering 30 hours per week.
Salary: up to £55,000 pro rata per annum.
Our well established client are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Carry out initial assessments using evidence-based and person-centred approaches.
- Focusing on providing assessment, management and treatment of communication difficulties and disorders following brain injury.
- Participate in ward rounds and in care-plan approach meetings.
- Participate in and deliver training for new starters.
Qualifications & Experience:
- HCPC registered
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
- Knowledge of acquired brain injury (ABI) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) and its impact on individuals and their families.
