Logistics Executive
Job Title: Logistics Executive - Occupational Health
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £30,000 + Benefits Package
Our client, a leading provider of Occupational Health services, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to join their team in Manchester. This is a key role, ensuring the smooth coordination and delivery of services to a wide range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the scheduling and logistics of Occupational Health services across multiple client sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Coordinate all appointments, transport, and medical equipment, ensuring resources are available for healthcare professionals to deliver services.
- Manage the fleet of vehicles used for service delivery, overseeing vehicle maintenance, route planning, and fuel management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies, during the transport and delivery of services.
- Act as the main liaison between healthcare professionals, clients, and other internal departments to ensure smooth communication and service provision.
- Handle any last-minute scheduling changes, managing reallocation of resources and staff to minimise disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, tracking the movement of resources, vehicles, and staff.
- Monitor and improve logistical processes, identifying areas for increased efficiency and cost savings.
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy, inspected regularly, and that any repairs or services are carried out promptly.
- Conduct risk assessments and proactively manage any logistical issues that may impact service delivery.
What Our Client Is Looking For:
- Logistics or Operations Experience: You should have experience managing complex schedules and coordinating services across multiple locations.
- Fleet Management Experience: A solid understanding of vehicle management, including maintenance schedules and route optimisation.
- Occupational Health Experience: Previous experience or an understanding of Occupational Health services would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You will need to liaise effectively with healthcare teams, clients, and other departments.
- Organisational Skills: A strong ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain high levels of accuracy, and prioritise under pressure.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to respond quickly to last-minute changes and implement practical, efficient solutions.
- IT Proficiency: Comfortable using logistics software and MS Office applications for scheduling, resource tracking, and record-keeping.
