Regional Sales Manager - Sustainable Recycling Services

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Regional Sales Manager to join a respected company dedicated to sustainable waste recycling.

 

Role Summary:

 

The Regional Sales Manager will lead efforts to grow sales of the company’s recycling solutions within their designated region. Key responsibilities include:

 

• Overseeing and guiding the regional sales team to meet targets and achieve key objectives, managing sales across an assigned territory or portfolio of clients.
• Ensuring feedstock levels at the Dagenham facility meet demand, while maintaining compliance with legal standards, revenue goals, and quality targets.
• Managing compliance and coordinating with third-party digestate contractors.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, monitoring account activity, and identifying opportunities to expand business.
• Preparing quotes in line with pricing strategies and renegotiating terms as needed to support commercial objectives.
• Gathering local market insights, tracking competitor activity, and communicating relevant information to inform strategy.

 

Requirements:

 

• Minimum of A-Level education or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence, with the willingness to travel as required.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, including new business development, and in providing support to a field-based sales team.
• Previous experience in a management role, with the ability to develop and sustain commercial relationships across various industries and seniority levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Decisive, adaptable, and resilient, with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
