Occupational Health Technician
Location: Primarily Kent and the South, with occasional nationwide travel
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000, with potential earnings up to £30,000 including overtime

We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Technician to join our client's dedicated team. This role offers you the chance to provide top-tier health services, from health screenings and surveillance to health promotion, while traveling to varied locations and delivering expert care.

About the Role

As an Occupational Health Technician, you’ll conduct essential health surveillance activities, including:

  • Audiometry and spirometry testing
  • Skin assessments and Hand-Arm Vibration (Tier 1 & 2)
  • Fitness-for-work medicals (e.g. for drivers and those working at heights)
  • Drug and alcohol testing

Your work will be carried out at client sites, in mobile screening units, or in clinics, so each day will bring something new! You will also be responsible for driving the mobile screening unit, meaning this role is suited to those who are ready to occasionally stay overnight to reach clients across the UK.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Previous occupational health experience, ideally including health surveillance and fitness-for-work medicals.
  • Travel-ready: Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
  • Licenced Driver: A full UK driving licence
  • Self-sufficient: Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy: Competent in MS Office and electronic medical records systems.
