Physiotherapist

Permanent | Part time ole based in Hitchin, covering 17 hours per week.
Salary: up to £40,000 per annum pro rata.

Our well established client are looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team on a permanent basis.  

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for assessment of service user needs in relation particularly to optimising independence and physical function, and symptom control.
• Responsible to devise a formal plan for families and carers to provide physiotherapy interventions as part of overall care.
• Liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of physiotherapy.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision. 
• Ensure appropriate prescription, provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources

Qualifications & Experience:

• HCPC registered
• Current registration with professional body (e.g. CSP)
• BSc in Physiotherapy
• Knowledge and application of physiotherapy assessments and interventions using clinical reasoning
• An ability to work autonomously and to set own and support others’ priorities
• An ability to confidently assess and manage risk in relation to physical performance
