Occupational Health Technician (OHT)

Full-Time | Permanent

£30,000 to £36,000 per annum

 

Are you an experienced Occupational Health Technician looking for your next challenge? My client seeking a dedicated professional with at least 18 months of experience to join their dynamic team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health screenings and wellbeing assessments, including vision, hearing, and respiratory evaluations on client sites
  • Maintain accurate records of health assessments and onward referrals, ensuring timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with management to identify potential workplace hazards.
  • Educate employees on health and safety practices and promote awareness of occupational hazards.
  • Assist in implementing health promotion and wellbeing programs within the organisation.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 months experience as an Occupational Health Technician.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in workplace health standards.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential, as driving is a core part of the role).

 

Additional Information:

  • Travel primarily within Yorkshire, with potential ad-hoc UK-wide travel.
  • Overnight stays may be required.
  • Access to a mobile medical unit is provided on occasion.
