Occupational Health Advisor – Multi-Site Role (Midlands & South West)

The Opportunity
We are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to provide expert health and wellbeing support across three vibrant sites in the Midlands and South West. This is a dynamic role where you’ll take ownership of health surveillance, new starter screenings and workplace health initiatives—ensuring employees receive the best possible care.
With two sites located close together and the third a little further afield, this role offers a unique level of flexibility. You can plan your own schedule, balancing site visits and workload in a way that works for you and the business.
Duties:
Conducting new starter health screenings to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.
Managing health surveillance programmes in line with risk assessments and legislation.
Providing expert guidance on sickness absence, rehabilitation plans, workplace adjustments, and redeployment.
Maintaining confidential medical records in accordance with company policies and NMC guidelines.
Promoting workplace health and wellbeing through education, initiatives, and campaigns.
Offering clear, practical advice to managers on occupational health concerns.
Taking ownership of your schedule—planning and prioritising site visits to meet business needs.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with Occupational Health qualifications.
Strong knowledge of health surveillance requirements and workplace health best practices.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and confident in managing a multi-site schedule.
Discrete and professional in handling sensitive situations.
High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
