Senior Ergonomist
Senior Ergonomist
Up to £50,000 DOE
Full time permanent position
Our client is seeking a Senior Ergonomist to join them on a full-time basis at their site in Derby. This is an on-site position with occasional travel to their Bristol site. The role involves a 37.5-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility in working hours between the site hours of 8 am-5 pm.
You will work closely with the client's Admin Team Leader on administration and operational processes, ensuring SLAs are met and protocols are followed. Additionally, you will provide accurate ergonomic assessment reports with appropriate recommendations for managerial review. You will identify workplace hazards and assess the risks associated with those hazards that may cause or aggravate musculoskeletal (MSK) health issues.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics or a related subject
- Membership in an Occupational Health/Ergonomics organization, such as ACPOHE, RCO, CIEHF, HFES, or similar
Skills
- Conducting ergonomic assessments
- Knowledge of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions/injuries and their treatment
- Report writing
- Risk assessments
