Senior Therapist

Senior Therapist

Permanent | Full time role based in Bristol.
Salary: up to £54,000 per annum.

Our well established client are looking for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist assessment and intervention to patients attending the outpatient service and receiving treatment as an inpatient at the hospital.
  •  Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of clients.
  • Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients.
  • Be available to support clinical MDT reviews and/or support trainee therapists & counsellors with individual case reviews
  • Be able to support wider hospital with psychological input as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BABCP / BACP / UKCP / HCPC

Desirable:

  • Accreditation with BABCP / BACP / UKCP (or at least working towards).  
  • Ideally holding a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an out-patient service.
  • Experience of working with depression, anxiety, psychosis and PTSD.
